We are currently executing a vital electrification and infrastructure upgrade project for Western Railway’s Ratlam Division, which focuses on modernizing the Indore-Ujjain section. This project involves comprehensive electrification of station buildings and signal & telecommunication (S&T) structures, internal wiring, installation of a lift, and the provision of a 250 KVA DG set along with other associated electrical works.

Key Aspects of the Project:

• Electrification of Station Buildings: The project includes the complete electrification of station buildings within the Indore-Ujjain section. This ensures energy efficiency and modern electrical infrastructure for better functionality and operation of station facilities.
• Internal Wiring for S&T Structures: Alongside the station buildings, internal wiring is being carried out for the Signal and Telecommunication (S&T) structures, which are critical for the smooth operation of railway signaling systems and communication services.
• Lift Installation: As part of station modernization, lifts are being installed to improve accessibility for passengers, especially for the elderly and differently-abled, contributing to enhanced convenience at these railway stations.
• Provision of 250 KVA DG Set: A 250 KVA Diesel Generator (DG) set is being provided to ensure uninterrupted power supply at station buildings and S&T structures in case of grid power outages, ensuring continuous railway operations and passenger comfort.
• Other Associated Works: Additional electrical works are being carried out to support the overall infrastructure development, including lighting systems, electrical panels, and safety equipment installation.

Safety and Quality Compliance:
All work is being executed with stringent adherence to railway safety standards and electrical regulations. Our focus is on delivering high-quality, reliable electrical infrastructure that meets the current and future needs of the Western Railway.

Current Status:

The project is actively progressing, with key milestones being achieved according to schedule. Electrification and internal wiring works are ongoing at various locations between Indore and Ujjain, while the lift installation and DG set provisioning are being prepared for implementation.
