project details
Project Overview:
This prestigious project, undertaken in collaboration with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), focuses on the empanelment of Training Centres (TCS) under the PM-DAKSH scheme. The PM-DAKSH Yojana is a Government of India initiative aimed at providing skill development training to marginalized and underprivileged sections of society, ensuring their employability and entrepreneurship opportunities.
Key Aspects of the Project:
- Empanelment of Training Centres (TCS): The project involves identifying, setting up, and empaneling multiple Training Centres across various regions. These centres will provide skill development programs to empower individuals from economically weaker sections, especially SCs, OBCs, and economically backward communities.
- Skill Development Programs: A wide range of skill development courses will be offered at these centres, focusing on key sectors such as manufacturing, construction, healthcare, IT, and services, tailored to meet local employment needs and entrepreneurial opportunities.
- Capacity Building: The empaneled centres will provide vocational training and upskilling, enhancing the employability of the trainees and enabling them to secure better-paying jobs or start their own ventures.
- Alignment with PM-DAKSH Scheme: This project is a vital component of the PM-DAKSH (Pradhan Mantri Dakshta Aur Kushalta Sampann Hitgrahi) scheme, which aims to provide free-of-cost skills training to marginalized communities. It supports NSDC’s mission to bridge the skills gap in India by reaching underserved populations.
- Quality Assurance & Monitoring: The empaneled training centres will adhere to NSDC’s rigorous standards for quality training delivery, with regular monitoring and evaluation to ensure the successful implementation of the PM-DAKSH objectives.
Current Status:
The project is in its early phases of identifying and empaneling Training Centres across multiple regions. Training facilities are being prepared to deliver high-quality skill development programs to the target beneficiaries.
Outcome:
With a project value of ₹12.00 crore, this initiative will significantly impact skill development in India, especially for underprivileged communities. The empanelment of training centres under the PM-DAKSH scheme will help thousands of individuals gain access to employment opportunities, thus promoting inclusive economic growth and social upliftment.
